We understand that your property needs may change. If you wish to delete your HousingX account, please read the following information carefully before proceeding.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
- Permanent Data Deletion: All your personal information directly associated with your HousingX account will be permanently deleted from our active databases.
- Irreversible Action: Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed.
- Loss of Access: You will lose all access to your HousingX profile, saved searches, message history, and any other data linked to your account.
- No Future Use: You will no longer be able to list properties, contact listers, or use any other personalized features. You would need to create a new account to use HousingX again.
- Data Retention for Legal/Business Purposes: We may retain certain information for a limited period if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, security, and dispute resolution.
How to Request Account Deletion
To ensure the security of your account, deletion requests must be initiated from within your HousingX account settings or through a verified email.
1. Through Your HousingX Account (Recommended)
Log in to your HousingX account and go to “Profile,” “Settings,” or “Account Settings.” Look for an option like “Delete Account” and follow the prompts.
2. Via Email Request
If the in-account option is unavailable, you can send an email to support@housingx.com with the subject line: “Account Deletion Request – [Your Registered Email Address]”.
What Happens After Your Request?
Once we receive your request and verify your identity, your account deletion will be processed within 14-30 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted.
